Former William Carey University standout Hannah Moak Price is back for her fourth year as assistant coach for the Lady Bears softball team. She serves as the pitching coach.
 
In her first season with the team, the Lady Bears set program records for wins (29), tied the program record for conference wins (16) and set the team record for consecutive wins (11) while earning a berth in the MACJC playoffs. Four individual season pitching records were set under her guidance.
 
Price helped the Lady Bears get the job done in the classroom as well. The 2019-20 team combined for a 3.62 GPA and had 13 players receive conference or national JUCO academic honors. Fourty six players have received national or conference academic awards in her firsty three previous years with the program. 
 
A resident of Ruth, MS, Price is a graduate of Parklane Academy. While playing for the Lady Pioneers, she was an MAIS Player of the Year and MAIS All-State selection and also an All-Star game MVP.
 
Price graduated from William Carey in 2018 with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with minors in English and science. As a pitcher for the Lady Crusaders, she picked up 77 career wins, 560 career strikeouts and a career ERA of 1.43 while holding opponents to a .191 batting average.
 
She received numerous awards and honors during her collegiate career including being a two-time NAIA Honorable Mention All-American, a three-time NAIA All-Region, CoSIDA Academic All-American and a Southern States Athletic Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
In 2020, Price received a Master's of Education in Interscholastic Administration from William Carey. 
 
She is married to Matt Price.
