Trevor Stigers is in his fifth year as defensive line coach for the Bears and his third year as Associate Head Coach. He came to the team after one season defensive line coach at Hinds Community College.
A native of Crawford, MS, Stigers is a 2012 graduate of Mississippi State University with a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. He was a four-year member of the Bulldogs football team, playing defensive line for Sylvester Croom and Dan Mullen and counts wins in the Gator Bowl and TaxSlayer Bowl among his career highlights.
Stigers is a graduate of Ridgeland High School where he was the 51st-ranked defense end in the country by Scout.com. He also participated in the Mississippi-Alabama High School All-Star football game.
Prior to the start of his coaching career at Hinds, Stigers served as a defensive line intern at Jackson State University in 2017 and the Philadelphia Eagles in 2018.
