HIGH SCHOOL: graduate of Pearl River Central High School…1st Team All-District his sophomore-senior years…2nd winningest pitcher in PRC history (18) with an ERA of 2.16…struck out 115 batters and held opponents to a .243 batting average…helped lead the Blue Devils to three district titles & a runner up finish…had a win in the MHSAA playoffs as a sophomore…a full-time starter as a junior who pitched & played first base…in his senior year, he threw a one-hitter & had a homer in the same game & helped lead the Blue Devils to the MHSAA South State round of the playoffs…played in the MHSAA Futures game as a junior & was selected to the South 4A-5A-6A All-Star team as a senior
