Biography

Phillip Burchfield is a Sophomore tight end for the Bears. He is from Clinton, Mississippi and went to Clinton High School. His parents are Teague and Robyn Burchfield. He has one sibling, Ellyn. Phillip is majoring in Education at Southwest. As a freshman at Southwest, Phillip received South All-MACCC Honorable Mention honors. In high school, he made the 7A All-State 2nd Team, All-Region 2nd Team, All-Metro 2nd Team, and was Clinton High School Athlete of the Year. His future plans are to play football at the next level and then get into coaching.
