Host Chipola takes down Bears

The host Chipola College Indians closed out the final day of the Chipola Classic with an 83-63 win over the Bears Saturday afternoon in Marianna, Florida.

Cy Merrett's 18 points led the Bears' offense. Chidi Nwosue and Leano Rolle were also in double figures with 11 points each. The Bears went 8-12 from the free throw line.

The Bears make their home debut on November 5 with a contest against the LA Knights. Tipoff is scheduled for 6:00.
