"We made some tough plays late in the game, got a few stops and they (Co-Lin) made a tremendous play at the end," said Lady Bears head coach Brent Harris.

Speaking of the last play, Harris said, "That offensive rebound's not the one that beat us. It's some of the others in the middle of the game and not finding some of their better players who were hurting us. Those are the things that cost us. They made a great athletic play (at the end). You've just got to tip your hat to them."

Cortez topped the Lady Bears with 21 points while Adam and Jones both finished with 11. Adam also recorded 10 assists. The Lady Bears made 12 of 14 free throws.

Co-Lin's Kelley Allen led all scorers with 26 points. Co-Lin was 12-19 from the free throw line.

The Lady Bears make their final home appearance of the season Monday night when the host South Division foe Jones County. Tipoff is set for 5:30.
