The ladies’ game was all Co-Lin (14-4, 7-0) as the Division-leading Lady Wolves pulled out to an 11-0 lead with 16:30 to play in the first half and were never seriously challenged. The hosts led 37-18 at the half and extended their lead to as many as 22 points in the second half as they dropped Southwest to 3-15 overall and 0-7 in the Division.
The Lady Bears' Shaniece Sheffield led all scorers with 21 points on the night. Shanekqua Bibbs was also in double figures with 14 points. Lacey Orr picked up eight points on the night while Cassie Berry added seven. Casey Brumfield netted two points and Alex Newsome and Taylor Williams both had one point. Southwest hit 19 of 29 free throws.
Co-Lin was led by Vintrice Briggs' 14 points. The Lady Wolves were 12 of 16 from the free throw stripe.
