Bears named MACJC men's soccer Academic Team of the Year

With a combined team GPA of 3.33, the Southwest Bears have been named the MACJC men's soccer Academic Team of the Year.

Head coach Zach Mills said he was "proud of my guys for the work they put in on the field. I hate how the season ended, but I'm happy to see them succeeding in the classroom. Being the MACJC Academic Team of the Year is an honor and it's definitely something we will continue striving for in the years to come."

Thirteen members of the team received individual academic honors from the MACJC including Distinguished Academic All-State recipients Dalton Culpepper, Jaime Delor, Keven Florian, Maximiliano Gigli, Ryan Ivey and Santiago Martinez.
