Ravian Pierce named All-American Honorable Mention

One of the most sought after juco tight ends in the country, Southwest's Ravian Pierce has capped his career with the Bears by being named an NJCAA All-American Honorable Mention. The Syracuse University signee is a native of Plantation, Florida.

In his final season in Summit, Pierce led the Bears with 50 catches for 426 yards with two touchdowns.

Bears' head coach Tucker Peavey said Pierce's recognition by the NJCAA "is a testament to his athletic ability and the way he played both years he was here. It Is a great honor for him and his family. It is the result of a lot of hard work."
